- As Killfile mentioned above, the bells at UVA tolled at 2:00p. Everyone stopped what they were doing, and there was an erie silence everywhere. The shock of something so terrible happening so close to us at a school where many of our family and friends are is still sinking in around here.

- He likely had more than one gun, and some reports have also said that he had multiple clips in his jacket, making for a quick reload.

- Thanks for the coverage Killfile. I have lots of friends at VT and I hope they weren't in the line of fire. It's a shame the chat feature isn't working. It would be really useful for "breaking news" situations.
